Edifier Da5000Pro Review with Xonar DX

When I was struggling to find out a good budget sound card for my Edifier DA5000 Pro, I came across Xonar DX or D1 through many techies. So, I thought of giving DX a try. Finally, I bought one and installed it in my PC. My initial impression was just OK and I was satisfied with the sound, and it was worth for which I invested. I am using an Intel motherboard with Core2Duo processor. The Xonar DX specs claims that the sound quality will be 35% better than the on-board sound card. But, I felt listening to music with this is 1.5 times better than the on-board sound cards. Hence Edifier DA5000Pro + Asus Xonar DX – is definitely a good combination for budget audiophiles.
